Each task can be assigned to multiple categories which provides the freedom of combining tasks in as many dimensions as desired. This feature is fully compatible with the easy 1-click category switch.

By selecting the category field and hitting space, a quick rotation over all categories is performed. This allows the fastest way possible to view tasks and switch categories with just one click!

With just 2 trackball clicks it is possible to jump directly to a particular directory. This saves tremendous amount of time compared to the filter setup that needs to be done with original BlackBerry® Tasks™ application.

With just one keystroke it is possible to navigate within the task list, e.g. jump to the top and bottom of the list. Furthermore, creating, editing and deleting tasks can be performed with pre-defined hotkeys which increase productivity dramatically.

BlackBerry® Integration

Powerful integration into native BlackBerry® applications is crucial for any application that has the goal of boosting the user’s productivity. With the easy to use “Paste to TaskMaster” the normal copy/paste behavior is extended to conveniently paste the clipboard content into a new task within TaskMaster.

“Send to TaskMaster” integrates into native BlackBerry® applications with direct mapping of their content. Therefore, it is possible to convert an Address Book contact, Calendar event, Browser URL, task, SMS text, MMS, PIN and email messages to a new TaskMaster task with just one click.

Let TaskMaster remind you about a task that you want to pay special attention to within a certain time period. Each task can have a reminder relative to the tasks due date (e.g. 15 minutes before the task is due) or an absolute reminder (e.g. June 9th 3:00 p.m.) which can be independent from the due date.

Sorting tasks in task list is very crucial and most task programs for BlackBerry® don’t provide this feature. Tasks can be sorted by status, due date, due today, priority and name (summary). By utilizing the sort hotkey sorting criteria can be swapped with just one click.

Utilizing the internal BlackBerry® infrastructure, tasks can be synchronized with any supported desktop task management system. Transparent synchronization is supported with programs such as Microsoft® Outlook®, Entourage®, Entourage® 2008; Apple: OS X Mail Notes^™, Stickies Notes™, PocketMac SecureNotes, and more. All tasks can be synchronized with the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, MissingSync or PocketMac.

The BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES®) provides reliable and proven technology to integrate with enterprise groupware systems. The BES® currently supports Microsoft® Exchange®, Lotus Notes® and Novel Groupwise®. TaskMaster tasks can be wirelessly synchronized into such systems and they do then appear on your desktop system like Outlook®.
