Features
“NextAction!” helps you implementing GTD® with your Blackberry, bypassing the shortcomings of the internal Task/ToDo application.

- One click context (category) change
You do not have to configure Filter anymore!
- 100% compatible with internal Blackberry Task Application
You can use “NextAction for Blackberry” and the internal application simultaneuosly if you want - Synchronizes with your standard desktop and corporate environments
Works with Microsoft Outlook®, Lotus Notes®, ACT!®, Novell Groupwise®, Entourage®*, iCal®*, Now Contact®/Now Up-To-Date®*, Meeting Maker* etc.
(any software which synchronizes your tasks will work).
* In conjunction with the free program PocketMac® for BlackBerry®
- Quick add “next actions”
“NextAction for Blackberry” uses the clean and simple approach to GTD®: no prioritization, only one context per action, easy and quick input

- Hide categories that are not task/next action related
You can select categories that should not appear in NextAction!, e.g. the categories of your Contacts, Notes, Calendar

- Contexts are sorted alphabetically
Contexts beginning with “@” appear on top of the list

As Falcon is operating on your BlackBerry’s internal task database you can synchronize your tasks with your desktop computer. It does not matter if you are using Microsoft Windows (2000, XP, Vista) or Mac OS X.
Setting up your desktop to synchronize with your BlackBerry (and vice versa) is very easy. A Windows setup guide for this is covered by your BlackBerry’s manual. Anyway, there are two very good manuals available that cover this topic: By setting this up all of your tasks in NextAction! can be synchronized to your installation of Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Act!, Novell Groupwise, iCal, Entourage, etc. |

“[…]I received my first BlackBerry last week and purchased / installed Next Action last evening. My first impressions are very, very positive.
The lure of email, calendar, cell and most GTD® functionality in one small device is for me compelling. I’ll be working over the next couple of weeks to fully convert my paper-based (Levenger Circa) GTD® implementation to the BlackBerry.[…]”
Dave from Toronto, Canada - posted at BlackBerryForums.com:
“I recently bought NextAction. I’m not connected with the vendor in any way.
It’s cheaper throught their site than handango “next-action.com” […]
Basically, it does what is promised. Saves time and keystrokes which is valuable to me on a handheld device with a reduced keyboard (I have 7130e).
I like the ability to hide categories that are not relevant to GTD® tasks. The synching with Outlook task list works fine. The only shortcoming I see is that NextAction can’t see the notes field in an outlook task while the Blackberry task list can. This is not a big deal fro me as I use the Outlook task list for next actions more than projects (both used in the GTD® sense).[…]”
